Hi,

Well, I'm sorry to say that the second sentence is incorrect. We cannot use it in this context. Present Continuous can be used to talk about things that are happening right now. For example: I'm studying English. Which would mean that I'm physically holding a book or something and studying English at the moment of speaking.
